"Freakshow" Music Video Filming feat. Robot Princess, and introducing THE NEUROMANTICS

WE NEED YOUR HELP.  Dalton Deschain & The Traveling Show are filming their first music video at Sidewalk Cafe, and we need you to be there!  The video is for our number 1 hit jam in 50 countries "Freakshow," and a portion of it will have us performing with people dancing and singing and flailing and generally looking like they're having fun/needing immediate medical attention.  THAT'S WHERE YOU COME IN.

To help entice you to be a part of this, we've enlisted some help to make the night a true party.  To kick off the night, I'm so excited to introduce a brand new supergroup to the NYC scene called The Neuromantics, consisting of E.W. Harris (Sky Captains of Industry), Phil Harris (Sky Captains of Industry, Dalton Deschain & The Traveling Show, The Travelers), and Matt Cranston (of Matt Cranston and a million other projects).

Then, once the filming is done, the afterparty will be led by 3 out of 4 out of 5 members of Robot Princess, whose brand new album "Tentacles" is out probably any day now and is amazing.  This whole night is going to be one big party, and we're PULLING THE DAMN TABLES OUT.

We only ask one thing of you:  dress up like a character.  Any character.  You can be a ninja, a wall street banker, a salsa dancer, Michigan Governer Rick Snyder.  Although the song is called "Freakshow," so the weirder the better, but just come dressed as anything.  If you literally don't have anything weird to wear, we will do peoples' makeup at the show as well, so still come down!!

This all goes down Sunday, May 8 at Sidewalk Cafe, starting at 7pm!  No cover!

For one night only, in honor of the film’s 15th anniversary, local circus-punk act Dalton Deschain & the Traveling Show will be covering the entire soundtrack from Hedwig and the Angry Inch! The soundtrack for this cult movie phenomenon is still the gold standard not just for rock musicals, but for all glam rock albums. Put on your wig and makeup and come sing along to faithful and loving covers of songs like “Origin Of Love,” “Wig In A Box,” and “Angry Inch,” plus a song that was cut from the original Off-Broadway production!
